MAO PR Brings Glam Back To New York City With Boy George & Disco By Wen Shi
On December 7th, Saturday evening, MAO PR kicked off the holiday season with a Studio 54 inspired party, atop the One World Observatory. After winding through security and lines of ropes, and an ear popping SkyPod elevator ride, we arrive into a room that was Kira Kira-irl. The room was silver and gold, disco galore, with 360 degree panoramic views of New York as the starry back drop. We were greeted with a disco ball photo booth. As you walk through various velvet seating areas, you arrive to a room filled with all the glam to bring studio 54 back to life.

The glam festivity was thrown in honor of the Abivardi sisters, the swiss beauty innovators, whose latest collection of environmentally and socially responsible beauty products will launch in the US Market 2020.
It was a glamourous affair with whos who of the glam NY scene. Amidst glass columns filled with disco balls, clear lucite table settings, and an open bar, the guests mingled and enjoyed unlimited champagne. Waiters handsomely dressed in tuxedo walked around with silver trays of cake lollipops and mini tarts.
J Alexander make the signature sashay down in a gold pant suit. The legendary Susanne Bartsch made an appearance wearing a rainbow color-blocked sequin catsuit. Amanda Lepore wowed in a nude body hugging cocktail dress embellished with crystals and a white fur stole. The biggest surprise of the night, was a performance by the one and only Boy George, the English singer, song writer, DJ, and fashion designer, who brought everyone to their feet with songs like ‘Karma Chameleon’ and ‘Do You Really Want to Hurt Me.”
