Pre-Fall 2021 Collection Trends

Animal Print

We can’t seem to escape animal prints and this season is the trend is being magnified with head-to-toe looks.

Blazers

Blazers will always be a classic piece, but this season we are seeing an emphasis on oversized silhouettes and boxy shoulders.

Faux Fur

Designers such as Stella McCartney have been leading the pack with sustainable and ethical production methods. This season, brands have taken note of the demand and are showcasing faux fur in their recent collections.

Florals

Florals will be transitioning from S/S 21 into Pre-Fall with muted neutrals and micro and macro prints.

The runways have made a strong case for long, elegant evening gloves emerging as a necessary trend for the season.

Layering

Layering continues to be a focal point of F/W collections, however this season the trend is all about taking risks and thinking of the enexpected.

Matching Sets

This season, we have upgraded from matching sweat sets in 2020 to matching sets that are acceptable to wear out of the house.

Mix & Match

Designers have been embracing their inner child by pairing unlikely prints and patterns to create noteworthy looks.

The 70s and Euphoric patterns have been revamped this season with the inclusion of toned-down neutrals and muted brights.

Plaid

Nothing says fall like a classic plaid, so it is no surprise this season has received an upgrade in Menswear and Womenswear with tailored suits, capes, and off-the-shoulder looks.

Pleated

Pleated in making a comeback from S/S 20 and transitioning into this season with sophisticated midi skirts and dresses.

Pointed Shoulders

In recent years, shoulder pads have been making a comeback. This 80s trend has been reimagined in a new feminine silhouette that will be sure to exude confidence and elegance.

Puff Shoulders

This trend has become a fan favorite since designers showcased it in their 2018 collections. These sleeves demand attention and are predicted to decrease in volume, making them wearable for everyday.

Ruffles

Ruffles continue to make their mark on the runway in a new juxtaposition of combining this romantic fabric with form-fitting corsets.

Slouchy Suits

Oversized, slouchy suits are the saving grace in finding balance between comfort and sophistication.

Top Hats

Wide-brimmed top hats are the perfect transition piece from wicker styles worn at the beach to deep velvets and suedes for Pre-Fall.

Wide Legged Pants

This season we are storing away our skinny jeans and refreshing our wardrobes with a dressier option that is equally as comfortable.
