Last week I went to the Spa at The Rockaway Hotel, tucked away in Rockaway (New York City), and received the SUGAR SCRUB BODY TREATMENT. The staff was friendly and the place felt cozy. The hotel has a nice ambiance and decor that is refreshing and a beach vibe to the location. I felt recharged, relaxed and revitalized. I was offered water, tea, and champagne (a seasonal Apple Cider spritz), which was refreshing. The treatment included sitting in the spa for a full exfoliation, and scalp treatment, which was my favorite service. By the way, the treatment ended with a full oil/lotion, which was applied head to toe. I used the amenities of the sauna and viewed the pool as I hung out for a little while sipping champagne. This place is definitely a must for local New Yorkers as a "Staycation" or for those seeking a quick escape to revitalize and to enjoy the pool and beach life.
