BIG3 Basketball Partners with Nahmias for Street Tour Pop Up

On December 19th in Los Angeles California BIG3 Basketball kicked off the BIG3 Street Tour experience with a pop-up celebrating the intersection of sports, fashion, and entertainment at SRGN Studios. Los Angeles is the birthplace of BIG3 Basketball, the 3-on-3 professional basketball league founded by Ice Cube and Jeff Kwatinetz. “Launching BIG3 Street in Los Angeles, my hometown, is like coming full circle,” says Ice Cube of the tour kick-off.

Drawing on the significance of the location, the BIG3 Street Tour chose local entrepreneurs to partner with for the launch. Doni Nahmias created a limited edition exclusive merch drop available only at the event. The collection included two vintage collector’s edition pieces, a t-shirt, and a crewneck, appealing to both basketball and fashion enthusiasts. “Feels special being able to bring Ice Cube and the BIG3 back to Los Angeles. He’s an OG LA legend. I’ve been watching him since I was young and it’s special to host a basketball event with him along the surgeon studios,” says designer Doni Nahmias. Along with Nahmias, the event featured a street BIG3 tournament with teams comprised of players from THE LEAGUE, a Los Angeles-based collective, complemented by BIG3 stars. Aside from limited edition merch and a once-in-a-lifetime tournament, guests were treated to food, drinks, and activations throughout the night for an unforgettable experience celebrating Los Angeles’ influence on both sports and fashion.
