Miami Beyond The Beach

Miami, Florida has a radiant atmosphere that blends together cosmopolitan sophistication with laid-back tropical charm. The city’s leisurely sun-soaked vibrancy mixed with high-energy excitement makes it America’s everlasting warm weather escape. As you roam the streets of Miami you can find yourself nestled on white sand beaches lining the Atlantic coast accented with colorful art deco architecture, an assorted culinary scene and cultural diversity throughout Miami’s neighborhoods. The city invites people to indulge in all its charisma and charm beyond the beach and step ashore to explore all Miami has to offer.

When it comes to dining in Miami the taste palette is endless, you can experience cuisines of the world within one neighborhood. On the Matador Room menu — Crunchy Potato Nuggets, Cinco Jotas Jamon and Manchego Cheese Fritters, Arroz con Pollo and for dessert Warm Valrhona Chocolate Cake with Vanilla Ice Cream. A local favorite with good food and music is Jrk! and Mangrove in Downtown Miami for the island spices of Jamaica blending together relaxed Caribbean sophistication and an inviting atmosphere. Beyond these restaurants Miami has a wide variety of other wonderful places to dine, from luxury to local quiet dining, visitors can delight in a melting pot of cuisine.

Each Miami neighborhood paints a different escape for visitors, for a bohemian atmosphere and lush, tropical landscapes filled with dining and shopping then Miami’s oldest and most charming area Coconut Grove is a beautiful stay for goers. “The Grove” is an eclectic neighborhood loaded with art and culture, stunning waterfront views and a community feel that makes you feel like a local. If modern and busy is your cup of tea then plan Brickell known as the financial district as your neighborhood of choice for modern skyscrapers, public transits and luxury living. South Beach, the most iconic of Miami’s lively neighborhoods is of course the number one pick. Rich with art deco architecture, famous beaches, lively nightlife and world-class dining South Beach is a dynamic neighborhood and encompasses the essence of Miami.

Travelers near and far love to explore Miami not only for its beaches but for a city that has something for everyone. Biscayne and Everglades National Parks is a great fix for the outdoorsy adventurers, and if you’re in Miami during the winter make a stop at Knaus Berry Farm, a family-owned landmark since 1956 in Homestead where you will find a long line of locals. The Wynwood Walls are a perfect stroll through art and creativity, throughout the city you can also find local film festivals, museums, a diverse music scene with rooftop bars to enjoy and some of the best shopping the city truly has it all. Overall, Miami is a city of contrasts and excitement with natural beauty, urban sophistication and cultural diversity that can provide visitors with an unforgettable experience beyond its shores.
