RADAR: Patrick Cage
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Patrick Cage knew he wanted to be an actor from a young age. After booking commercials and guest spots for several years, at the age of 15 Patrick decided to be homeschooled to focus on acting full time. With an ultimatum from his mother that he had to book a job or go back to school, Patrick booked his first big role in the film “We the Party” with director Mario Van Peebles.
Patrick is best known for his role on the Emmy nominated series “Westworld.” Additional credits include the upcoming series “Bookie” from creator Chuck Lorre,
“Equalizer,” “Welcome to Chippendales,” “Manhunt,” “All American,” “NCIS,” “United States of Al,” “Lucifer,” “NCIS: Hawaii,” “The Rookie,” “New Amsterdam,” “CSI:Vegas,” “Rosewood,” “Jane the Virgin,” “Stitchers,” “Station 19,” and “This Is Us.”
In Patrick’s biggest role to date, he plays the antagonist character Gat, in the recently released second season of the acclaimed MAX show, “Rap Sh!t” created by Issa Rae. As Lord AK’s friend, he is introduced in episode two as a potential nemesis to Shawna and will play a major recurring role throughout the season.
When not acting, Patrick enjoys focusing on fitness and making music. Cage who is releasing his first single, “Weighted Blanket”, says the song started as a joke when he was free-styling with friends, but when put to music realized he had a great song.
He has an extensive background in music, starting at 5, when he joined his church choir, and then on to attending a music-based high school where he learned to play over 10 different instruments, including Drums, Piano, Guitar, Bass Guitar, Guitarron, Tenor Sax, Trumpet, Ukulele, Tuba, Marimba. Patrick lives in Los Angeles and is passionate about helping the homeless and participates in lunch bag service where he and fellow volunteers make thousands of lunches for the homeless.
