Established in 1999, Sacai utilizes a grand mixture of different types of fabrics, patterns, shapes, and silhouettes. In their newest Spring & Summer 2025 collection, founder Chitose Abe commemorates her first days of Sacai with new archetypes.
With Chitose Abe’s designer roots, Sacai’s newest collection intertwines original hybridization with contemporized designs. Furthermore, the pieces make a profound statement to accentuate the ease of dressing up.

The pieces include outerwear such as jackets and trenches, including their signature MA1 jacket. Every piece intermixes textured fabrics, such as pleats and ruffles.

Sacai placed chiffon into a hunting jacket, converging functionality with couture. A classic navy blazer is confronted with ruffles, MA1 jackets are brought with more structure, baggy pants attached to a blouse become a dress, and hoodies are deconstructed with an ambiguous figure.

Through this collection, Sacai appreciates its history. The Sacai Spring & Summer 2025 Collection blends style, individuality, practicality, and couture to commemorate their company from the beginning to now.
