For the opening night of the Renaissance World Tour in Stockholm, Beyoncé wore a custom Alexander McQueen black mesh bodysuit with silver bugle beads and crystal anatomical embroidery. The bodysuit combines disco glam with a futuristic silhouette that is perfectly fit for an “Alien Superstar.”
Harry Lambert styled British actor Eddie Redmayne and his wife Hannah in full Alexander McQueen looks for the 2023 Met Gala in New York.
Eddie Redmayne wore a custom double-breasted tailored tuxedo jacket in black wool barathea. The jacket was adorned with pearl brooch and draped chain embroidery. Underneath he wore an ivory silk poplin shirt. The tuxedo jacket was paired with two-pleat wide-leg trousers also in black wool barathea. The look was completed with a black silk faille tie and black leather boots.
Like many Met Gala looks this year, Hannah Redmayne’s look came from the archives.Hannah opted for a dress from McQueen’s Spring/Summer 2012 collection with a draped pearl-embroidered bodice and a scalloped skirt in ivory silk. Hannah accessorized with a McQueen Exploded Victorian Jewel Knuckle Clutch and pin-heel sandals in ivory leather.
Ahead of the Met Gala, Rihanna wore a pair of Alexander McQueen sunglasses while in New York. Unlike most of her night-time street-style looks, Rihanna sported a comfy and casual outfit with jeans, sneakers, and a zip-up hoodie. To elevate the look Rihanna wore the Spike Studs Mask sunglasses from Alexander McQueen’s Spring/Summer 2023 collection.
While at the opening night of Prisma Facie in New York, English actress Jodie Comer wore a tailored one-shouldered dress with a slashed skirt in black wool with red broken pinstripe. The McQueen Autumn/Winter 2023 look was styled by Elizabeth Saltzman.
Yara Shahidi radiated pixie dust at the London premiere of Peter Pan & Wendy. The actress, who stars as Tinkerbell, wore a slashed Alexander McQueen dress with yellow all-over bugle bead embroidery and fringing.
