Last month, Vivienne Westwood, the iconic British fashion designer, sadly passed away at 81 years old in London. Vivienne Westwood famously brought fashion to the punk movement in the 1970s with ripped t-shirts, safety pins, and bondage pants. Over the years, her designs evolved but stayed cutting-edge. Vivienne took inspiration from pirates, paintings, witches, and rococo fashion and added her own twist. To this day you can’t see a corset, tartan skirt, or pearl necklace without thinking of Vivienne Westwood. The revolutionary brand has stayed in demand and is adored by celebrities like Dua Lipa, Bella Hadid, Olivia Rodrigo, Alexa Demie, and Gwen Stefani. Vivienne Westwood left a lasting impact on fashion and her designs will live on forever through the millions of people she inspired. To celebrate her legacy, we put together a list of some of our favorite designs from the brand.
