WANT! Oversized Bags- Bigger is Better!
A sharp contrast to the minibag craze a few years back, large ’work bags’ are here to stay. A combination of practicality and playfulness, the oversized bag has become more prominent with each season over the past year, with just about every brand doing their take on the style. Following the rise of office wear post-pandemic, consumers are looking for lots of storage with their bags, without compromising fashion. Either slouchy or structured, simple or flashy, there is no shortage of options.
With the stray from smaller, more delicate bags, we also see a rise in bags being catered to men! Influenced by actors like Jacob Elordi who is often seen carrying a tote bag, to recently football star Christian McCaffrey carrying a Birkin into the Super Bowl, it seems men are finally embracing the practicality and fun of a purse... or ‘satchel’.
