Alexander McQueen Men's Pre-FW 23 Collection

Alexander McQueen’s Pre-Fall / Winter 2023 Menswear Collection merges the house’s fascination with nature with its expertise in tailoring. Inspired by minimal utility and dissected tailoring, the collection features solarized flower prints, crystal highlights, and collage embroideries. The trompe l’oeil detailing and spliced wardrobe archetypes bring a new life to McQueen’s signature pieces.

The house combined its vivid prints with bold and neutral colors (black, white, beige, red, navy, and pale pink). Cigarette trousers, tailored coats, spliced jackets, and reconstructed shirts are prominent throughout the collection. Standout pieces include a slashed tailored jacket; a cut-out harness shirt; a tailored jacket with a draped lapel; a slashed mock neck jumper in black wool; a parka in solarized flower print; a trompe l’oeil biker jacket in denim and leather; and a double-breasted tailored jacket in luminous flower print with crystal highlight embroidery.
