Bill Medley Makes His Dreams Come True With “Straight From The Heart”

Bill Medley will release his fourth Curb Records album called “Straight From The Heart” on February 14, 2025. Vince Gill, Keb’ Mo’, Shawn Colvin, and Michael McDonald will also be featured in this upcoming yet enticing album.

Grammy award-winner Bill Medley is a legendary vocalist who has influenced the music industry and pop culture to this day. He is the ecstatic voice behind songs such as: “(I’ve Had) The Time Of My Life,” “You’ve Lost That Lovin’ Feelin’,” and “Unchained Melody.

He has won a Grammy as a part of The Righteous Brothers, been nominated for Top New Male Vocalist of the Year at the Academy of Country Music Awards, and has performed for countless artists, concerts, and tours. 

On January 10, Bill Medley released a preview of the album with a single called “Cryin’ Time.” He collaborated with Michael McDonald of the Steely Dan/the Doobie Brothers, giving the audience a preview into his true-to-home Rock & Roll Hall of Fame voice.

His upcoming album will intertwine country genres with his stylistic roots. For example, “Cryin’ Time (ft. Michael McDonald” puts forth a soulful yet harmonic intermix to the song. 

Mcdonald stated how “Bill Medley takes his rightful place alongside other great vocalists such as Ray Charles, Tony Bennet, and Nat Cole in showing us a greater depth to the compositions he chooses to perform. It only takes a timelessly soulful voice to do that.”

Bill Medley has envisioned “Straight From The Heart” since 1968, and he is making his dreams come true. Stay tuned for the absolutely soulful album, which will be released on February 14, 2025.
