Sacai Unveils Their Creative Wild Side for Their Autumn & Winter 2025 Collection
Chitose Abe, creative director and designer of Sacai, reveals an unconventional, archetypical, and passionate side of Sacai. Foundationally based upon the idea of nature, Abe utilizes abstract and unique construction techniques to emphasize silhouettes.
Patterns are based upon ideas of nature and the wilderness, while the collection’s pieces produce a balance between practicality and ready-to-wear. One motif shown throughout the collection is the new knitted “fur.” The new fur exemplifies the internal protection held by an apparel piece, protecting the individual from the real world.
Sacai also promotes advanced layering styles. In multiple runway looks, different-sized jackets are paired together. For example, a spacious, oversized jacket may be paired with a regular-sized jacket.
Furthermore, Chitose Abe brought brand features into the collection. UGG, Carhartt WIP, and J.M. WESTON all converged their own brand identities with Sacai. These brand crossovers brought a refreshing take onto Sacai’s overall collection image.
The Sacai community is ready to take on the Autumn and Winter 2025 seasons due to Sacai’s use of creativity and innovation.
