Polite Society: Everyone’s New Favorite Clean Beauty Brand
From the founders of Too Faced Cosmetics comes Polite Society. Though it was only launched last year, Polite Society is already adored as a brand that is clean, cruelty-free, and vegan. You may have seen your favorite beauty TikTokers like Mikayla Nogueira Hawken or Carli Bybel raving about the brand. So what does “clean” mean to Polite Society? To the brand, it means “making informed choices when developing products using only safe, vegan and non-toxic ingredients (organic and naturally derived whenever possible) and materials that are produced by safe and cruelty-free suppliers with products of traceable origin and ethical labor and manufacturing processes.” Polite Society is all about self-expression and being unique. “We tilt our Os in our logos to remind us to stop conforming to the stale and stifling standards of basic beauty and embrace all our perfectly imperfect traits and features,” says the brand. “We believe those are the things that make each of us so uniquely beautiful.”

The V.I.P. Very Important Palette, $39
Polite Society’s V.I.P Very Important Palette is a makeup essential that takes you from day to night. It’s versatile, offering nine shades perfect for natural or full glam. These eyeshadows feel high-quality and are easily buildable and blendable. I was able to do a full bronze smokey eye without any fall out. I love the glamorous design of the palette. I appreciate that it’s easy to hold during makeup application and it features a large mirror.
More than a Pretty Powder, $34
This setting powder has a flawless finish. It’s micro-fine and minimizes pores while controlling oil and shine. I applied it with a powder puff and it blurred my skin. It made my makeup last for several hours without touch-ups. I received the shade ‘Brightening Petal’ which is a light pink powder that helps to brighten and lift. Its formula features moisturizing vegan hyaluronic acid and nasturtium flower extract for radiance.
B.I.G. Mouth, $15-27
Want the perfect pout? Look no further than Polite Society’s B.I.G. Mouth, a lip-plumping oil gloss infused with hydrating blueberry oil, plumping infinity pepper, and volumizing ginger root oil. I received the shades ‘THE O.G.’ and ‘Sweet Talker’. They made my lips feel nourished and look SO plump. It seriously works! There is a slight tingling sensation, but nothing painful or irritating. It has a high-shine, glossy finish without feeling sticky.
Polite Pops, $28
Polite Society’s Polite Pops are powder blush sticks. Yep, you heard that right! It’s powder blush in a stick. It’s available in 6 vibrant shades. I received ‘London’ which is a true pink that looked gorgeous on my skin tone. The pigment is no joke! Say goodbye to dusty powder blushes. This innovative hybrid formula has a soft matte finish. It blends like a cream but has the look of a powder. The adorable packaging is perfect to take with you on the go. You can easily pop these in your purse.
