Diane von Furstenberg Releases Bright Spring Collection with Target
Esteemed fashion designer Diane von Furstenberg has a multi-faceted collaboration with Target, which dropped in-store and online on March 23.
The limited-edition collection celebrates 50 years of the wrap dress and includes more than 200 pieces of apparel, made-to-order furniture, dinnerware and home decor. Furstenberg, known for pioneering the wrap dress, designed this collection with her granddaughter, Talita von Furstenberg, who is the co-chair of DVF. This is their second time collaborating, as the two dropped a capsule collection of wrap dresses in 2019.
Most of the Target collection ranges from $4 to $100, and made-to-order furniture starts at $300. Mainline DVF wrap dresses start at $318. For those who want that signature silhouette but are on a budget, they can buy a DVF for Target wrap dress for $50 in a variety of patterns. The clothing includes a combination of new and archival prints from Furtstenburg’s previous designs. Vibrant spring prints like ginkgo, geranium leaves, leopard, floral and zebra are in the collection. The sizes range from XXS-4X.
Shoppers can also purchase vintage inspired jumpsuits, robes, mommy-and-me outfits, activewear sets, girls’ and baby apparel. Some of the home items offered include bedding, towels, and more–like yellow floral shower curtains and green sea twig washcloths.
For lush dinner parties, shoppers can buy floral toile dining bowls with zebra print placemats, as styled in the Target lookbook. The collaboration also offers reusable tote bags, which have the brand’s geranium leaf and poppy patterns with pink and green hues. Buyers can mix and match accessories like travel pouches and coin purses with a variety of sheet masks, stationery, and press-on nails. The collection’s beauty products were created in tandem with various brands stocked at Target.
Customers can choose one of the seven DVF for Target exclusive prints when purchasing the made-to-order furniture and receive them within four weeks. Manufactured in the United States, the furniture ranges from headboards, swivel chairs, and benches to room dividers and ottomans. For those averse to bold patterns, some items in the collection, like this black embroidered bedding sheet set or white matelassé tonal sea twig pillow, are more minimalist.
With hundreds of printed items to choose from that are friendly for multiple budgets, the Diane von Furstenberg and Target collaboration adds just the right amount of pep to someone’s wardrobe and home.
